WSES will be hosting our annual Veteran's Day Breakfast starting at 8:30am tomorrow, November 15, 2024. Veteran's Day Assembly will begin at 9:45am, our K-6 grade students will all have presentations. All veterans and those currently in service are welcome to join us for breakfast and the assembly. Families of our students are welcome to attend our assembly! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Our Annual Halloween Parade, around the school block will begin at 1:15pm!
Wednesday, October 30th will be our 1st 9 weeks Award Assemblies. 1st and 2nd grade will be at 8:20, kindergarten at 9:10, and 3rd-6th grade at 9:50 in the gym. Wednesday is also the last day our Scholastic Book Fair, please stop by. We will have tables set up with free Halloween costumes and a table of lost and found items.
School pictures are tomorrow, Tuesday October 29, 2024!! Parent/Teacher conference is also tomorrow, Tuesday October 29 from 5-7pm. Hope to see you there!

Spirit Week at WSES, October 21st-25th!!
Fall Portraits have been rescheduled. They will be on the morning of Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
This Wednesday, October 16th will be a Professional Learning Day for staff. There will be NO SCHOOL for students.
No school for students on Wednesday, October 16, due to staff trainings.
There will be a volunteer training tomorrow at 6:30 at Webster County High School. There will be other trainings coming up in the year as well for those unable to attend. This year, the Board of Education has made provisions to cover the cost of the fingerprint/ background checks on a first come first serve basis. All volunteers, new and returning must complete the volunteer form on the board website under parent forms. Volunteers who attended the training and completed the background check last year will not need to attend. Training and background checks are good for three years.
Junior League Basketball forms will be coming home with students today and also on Monday. These forms are due back to WSES by Friday, October 11.
